The fat shot is a despicable shot when you think about it. Not only does it not go very far, it may embarrass you by throwing dirt up into your eyes or on your clothes. I rate it as one of the worst shots in golf maybe only behind the shank. Knowing what causes the fat shot is very important, and I will show you in the video. Just as important, maybe more important, is how to hit a shot that isn’t fat. How many of you think that the club hits the ball and the turf at the same time? Is this a fat shot? You bet it is.
